Energy Date Balls with Hemp Seeds

No-bake, portable energy bites with natural sugars for pre-workout fuel and balanced fats to prevent energy crashes.

Ingredients

  • 10 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp almond or peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt, 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp water if needed

Directions

  1. Pulse oats in a food processor to a coarse flour.
  2. Add dates, nut butter, hemp seeds, vanilla, salt; pulse until sticky.
  3. Add water only if mixture is dry. Fold in cacao nibs.
  4. Roll into 12 balls; chill 20 minutes to set.
Tip: Coat with extra hemp seeds for more protein and crunch.
